The 5 GHL Automations Every Online Coach Needs

A CRM without automations is a contact list with extra steps. Here are the five sequences every coaching business needs in GHL.

1. New Client Onboarding. Triggered on Stripe payment. Sends welcome email, books kickoff call, drops the SOP Loom library, tags the contact as Active.

2. Lead Nurture. Triggered when a discovery call is booked but not attended. Five-touch follow-up across email and SMS over 14 days.

3. At-Risk Trigger. Fires when a client misses two check-ins in a row, or when their last login was 21+ days ago. Notifies coach, sends recovery message.

4. Renewal Sequence. Starts 21 days before contract end. Three-touch sequence reinforces wins, anchors the offer, books the renewal call.

5. Refund Recovery. Triggered when a client requests a refund or pauses billing. Personal video request, alternative offer, exit survey.
